Welcome to Misty Meadows Farm!
Misty Meadows Farm is a 28-acre
family farm owned by Ralph and Kathy Packard, where we plant many different
vegetables. The 2008 growing season will be our 9th year operating Misty Meadows Farm CSA.
We raise free-range chicken for both meat and egg production year-round, turkeys each year for Thanksgiving deliveries, and plenty of happy pigs. We offer free-range chicken, pork, and beef throughout the season. All our animals are raised sustainably with open access to pastures. No antibiotics or hormones are administered. Bacon and sausage from our farm is processed nitrate- and nitrite-free and with no MSG. You can purchase our meats, poultry, and eggs seasonally at farmers' markets and year-round by contacting the farm. Several different types of vegetables and fruits are available through our CSA and at farmers' markets. Heirloom varieties are favorites at Misty Meadows, and you can always suggest varieties for our future plantings. Our vegetables and fruits are naturally grown using sustainable farming practices.
